The Bouncing Ball, by Paul West: the refs are back!

Hi all, thanks for reading! Lots going on in the sports world, and as usual, I’ve got opinions. My thoughts:

–Tony Romo is just singularly baffling. But Dez Bryan is NOT helping him.

–The Green Bay Packers can tell you that, as I alluded to in my last post, the regular NFL refs aren’t always a cup of tea. That said, I’m glad to see ’em back. And the NFL owners’ role in the lockout was just shameful.

–Mike Trout is TOTALLY the MVP. No disrespect to Miguel Cabrera, seriously, because he’s the truth. But I’ll say it again: 50 stolen bases, stealing home runs AND those power numbers from the leadoff position? Seriously?

–I LOVE the two wild-card format. We’re headed for another exciting finish to the MLB season…well, in the American League, anyway.

–Is Rasheed Wallace really coming to the Knicks? I mean, I don’t think it’s a terrible addition, per se. But seriously, we should have kept Jeremy Lin. And shipped out Melo. Addition by subtraction on that one…I’ll be part of why we didn’t trade him is not enough teams would give up a lot for him because of his, er, chemistry intangibles.

–Last but not least, pick up that Dolphins’ receiver, Brian Hartline, if he’s available in your fantasy league. Dude’s big, fast and tough, with good hands…

Thanks for reading!
